System Service

You can quickly enable/ disable network, system, and provision services in Enablement.

Network​

You can enable/ disable the interfaces of cellular, Ethernet (LAN), Wi-Fi, and DHCP Server applications. system_service_network

Note that enabling DHCP server requires a static IP address setting of a LAN interface.

Service​

System services include system/ event log, HTTP/HTTPS, local console, NAT, NTP, SD card and SSH server. system_service

  • NAT is designed for child devices which connect to network throughout ThingsPro Edge. The traffic is rotued via default gateway as default.

    Note that you may create Forward rules in Firewall, which allows child devices to be reached from external network.

  • SSH Server

    • Default account: Moxa
    • Default password: Moxa

Provision​

This service is designed for ThingsPro Proxy. You can enable/ disable the provision service for being discovered by ThingsPro Proxy. system_service_provisioning

For security issue, you can only enable Scheduled to permit of 15 minutes for provisioning after ThingsPro Edge starts.
